Apparently the Yahoo Buzz thing linked to a photo I had of Plymouth Rock...over 40,000 hits later...I was like "why are there so many comments arguing about Indians and America...
My folks along with my brother are on their way from NY for Thanksgiving and the long weekend. Eeeek...4 days worth of family on my home turf. I imagine that there will even be drinking for me.
I think by Friday evening we'll be ready to pull each others throats out, especially with my Dad.
On more positive things...I baked a pumpkin pie and it came out well.
Ran the shift at the store today, which is the busiest shift, though Sharon may disagree, I think I did well.
Still no luck on the job front, but at least I'm staying busy.
Finished (finally) writing up the hike up Mansell Mountain in Acadia on AITO.
The annual Pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving Party is tomorrow night. I'm trying to find the motivation to clean...we've gotten most of it done, but I've got to tackle the dining room/kitchen and I'm just finding 101 other things to do...
Must...clean...must...clean...
The party starts at 4 tomorrow, see you then! (hopefully in a clean house)
Oh, and considering I'm still unemployed...the Jeff fund is accepting donations...button over to the right...I know, pretty ballsy to ask, but what the heck, I'm trying to find any way to make money at this point.
I've got to get back into the swing of blogging...Twitter has been spoiling me.
I've got write-ups of our two major hikes coming along for AITO and I've been working on some reviews for Epinions. That's good news...I don't think I've reviewed anything in a month! Got to get some more reviews to get more money.

Somehow I think my old description for the blog fit well - a bit about this and that - that's really what this blog is all about. Stories, experiences, thoughts, rants, complaints and praise, it's all here.
I've lived all over the Northeastern US, including growing up in New York, college in northern Vermont, living in both northern and central Maine and now here in eastern Massachusetts where I've finally managed to settle down with my husband. I just have to paint the picket fence white and we'd have our own piece of suburbia.
That husband part is pretty cool. After years of being together (we began our relationship in March of 1997), we were married in Massachusetts in the Spring of 2008. It was the perfect ceremony to celebrate our love and it's amazing feeling to know that we are married to one another.
In the meantime, we're just finding our way along, seeing what is just around each corner and enjoying our lives together.
